Gerardo Guzman_Project Manager
Gerardo Guzman is an Associate at Z+A and graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in 2011. He received a BA in Architecture and minored in City and Regional Planning. Gerardo also studied Engineering of Historic Structures in Paris during Summer 2010. He worked as a draftsman for Gansek, Inc. in Berkeley from 2009-2011 participating in several design-build projects around the East Bay. Gerardo joined Z+A in
2010 as an intern and has since worked on a number of projects from Design Development through Construction Administration.
In 2010 he became a LEED Green Associate and hopes to incorporate sustainable strategies into designs for low-income and migrant farm worker housing. He is currently studying for ARE #7 and plans on completing the licensure process in late 2017. Gerardo enjoys visiting his hometown of Sonoma and is an avid sports fan, especially baseball.
Sunrises are not his favorite due to Studio all-nighters, but he does enjoy an occasional walk on the beach.
