Gerardo Guzman is an Associate at Z+A and graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in 2011. He received a BA in Architecture and minored in City and Regional Planning. Gerardo also studied Engineering of Historic Structures in Paris during Summer 2010. He worked as a draftsman for Gansek, Inc. in Berkeley from 2009-2011 participating in several design-build projects around the East Bay. Gerardo joined Z+A in 2010 and has since worked on a number of projects from Design Development through Construction Administration.
In 2010 he became a LEED Green Associate and hopes to incorporate sustainable strategies into designs for low-income and migrant farm worker housing. Gerardo enjoys visiting his hometown of Sonoma and is an avid sports fan, especially baseball.
